Hi, I'm Kie, founder of Maris Gina, LaMina, and Head Spa Luxe Tokyo.

Since 2012, I have dedicated my career to creating beauty salons where both international guests and local Japanese clients can feel comfortable, welcomed, and understood.

When I first began working with international clients in Tokyo, I realized that many visitors felt nervous about booking beauty services in Japan due to language barriers, cultural differences, and uncertainty about what to expect. My vision was to create a salon experience where guests could relax completely, communicate comfortably, and enjoy professional treatments without stress.

Today, that vision has grown into multiple salon locations across Japan, serving clients from all over the world. Our salons are known for their welcoming atmosphere, international mindset, and commitment to providing high-quality beauty services in a safe, professional, and inclusive environment.

One of our greatest strengths is communication. Our multilingual team is able to assist guests in English, Japanese, French, Tagalog, Portuguese, Malagasy, and Danish, helping travelers and residents alike feel comfortable throughout their visit.

As the official Japanese distributor and educator for the world-renowned sugaring brand, Alexandria Professional, I have spent years helping introduce professional sugaring hair removal to Japan. My passion extends beyond providing treatments—I am deeply committed to education, professional development, and raising industry standards within the beauty industry.

Over the years, I have trained more than 50 beauty professionals and supported many practitioners in developing their skills and building successful careers. I believe that a strong beauty industry is built not only on excellent products and techniques, but also on education, integrity, and continuous growth.

My mission is to elevate the standard of beauty services in Japan while creating opportunities for beauty professionals to thrive. Through advanced education, salon operations, and customer-focused service, I continue working toward a future where professional sugaring and high-quality beauty treatments are more widely recognized and accessible throughout Japan.

I am available at our Shibuya location from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and am passionate about helping clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout their sugaring journey.

One of my favorite treatments is nape sugaring. I love how a beautifully shaped neckline can enhance a person's overall appearance and create a cleaner, more polished look. Small details often make the biggest difference, and I enjoy helping clients discover those transformations.

Before joining LaMina, my experience was primarily with laser hair removal. However, after experiencing professional sugaring myself, I was amazed by how much it improved the condition of my skin. Not only does sugaring remove unwanted hair, but it also helps leave the skin feeling smoother, healthier, and more radiant over time. This experience inspired me to deepen my knowledge and pursue a career in sugaring.

What I love most about working at LaMina is the supportive team environment and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow. I am always studying and refining my skills so that every client can relax, feel confident, and trust they are receiving the highest level of care.
